We held a lecture and practical course for a group of Personal Trainer and Boot Camp members at Good-Life Alexandra Hills today. It was a great group to work with since most attendees were experienced in training and were keen to learn new things.
The theory lecture mainly focsed on diaphragm activation and how to turn it into proper core stabilization. We also covered joint centration, "Active Stance" and how to activate good stabilization patterns when training.
After the theory lecture the participants practised diaphragm activation and core stabilization from the inside out. They got to feel the difference of positioning, joint centration and were introduced to some effective exercises for developing better and more functional movement patterns.
